General Information
ZHCB butt-welding machines serve for joining pipes made of PE, PP, PB, PVDF within the diameter range 50-1200mm. Machines are controlled manually and don’t store welding parameters. ZHCB machines are characterised by their simple and light-weight construction. Machines are operated on the basis of table of welding parameters attached to the control panel if hydraulic unit. Timer and stop watch features are integrated into the regulator of temperature also located on the control panel. Newly designed hydraulic system allows for smooth adjustment of press force and max. retraction speed. New solution allowed to reduce the weight and dimensions of hydraulic unit by 25%.
Hydroaccumulator
ZHCB machines are by default equipped with hydroaccumulator which maintains the press force at adequate level during cooling phase without the need for constant work of the pump motor. This solution allows to reduce worktime of power generator.
Multifunctional regulator of temperature
Heating plate is controlled through the regulator of temperature located on the control panel of hydraulic unit. The regulator is additionally equipped with the timer/stop-watch feature for counting the times of subsequent phases of welding process.
Welding parameters
Table with welding parameters located on the control panel significantly improves the quality of work and allows to maintain correct parameters during welding process. By default the table provides parameters for PE pipes for SDR:11, 17, 17.6 and 26. Tables for other materials (PP,PB,PVDF) or other SDR’s are available at request.
Registration of welding parameters
ZHCB machines can be equipped with data logger RZEN-2000. The device attaches to the hydraulic unit and connects with power supply and hydraulic systems via designated connectors. Installation procedure doesn’t require any additional tools and can be performed in on-site conditions. Significant advantage of the data logger is its versatility. Client owning larger number of ZHCB machines, even of different sizes, can easily switch the device between different machines depending on his current needs. The data logger stores up to 2000 welding cycles. The file with welding protocol can be downloaded onto USB stick. Printout of welding protocol can be performed directly from the data logger using thermic printer or through PC with NowatechConnection software (download for free at Nowatech website).
